Good news, procrastinators: Even though Prime Day is technically over, there are still plenty of worthwhile deals to score. So if you forgot to take a look at the best Prime Day baby deals or add something to your cart, there’s still a chance to save. True, you may not find deep discounts on big ticket items like strollers, car seats and nursery furniture from luxe baby brands, but there are still solid offerings on boring albeit necessary essentials, like diapers and wipes

If you have sale fatigue, I get it. Between this two-day event and the numerous Prime Day alternative sales, there are a lot of deals to comb through. Fortunately, you have me: a mom who makes a living covering sales. I’ve used my decade of sales expertise to find the best of the best post-Prime Day baby deals. Below, I share my favorite Prime Day deals that parents and parents-to-be can (and should) still snag.

My Favorite Post-Prime Day Deals

Prime Day FAQs

Amazon isn’t the only retailer trying to help you save on everyday essentials and big ticket items. Several will be holding sales that are around or during Prime Day, presenting you with even more deals. And don’t worry, we’ll be covering them all.

  • Target Circle Week: From July 7 to July 13, the big red retailer will be hosting its semi-annual Target Circle Week. During this time, Target Circle program members will be able to score exclusive deals, including up to 50% off toys and 30% off clothes for the whole family, as well as opportunities to earn Target gift cards when they buy select household items (i.e. diapers.) Unlike Amazon’s Prime membership, Target Circle is free to join — just share you email and you’ll unlock hundreds of savings all year. But if you’re looking for a membership with a few more benefits, you can join Target Circle 360. Normally $99 annually, you can join for $49 for your first year between July 7 and July 13.
  • Walmart Deals: Similarly, Walmart will be hosting its summer sale from July 8 to July 11. Although the sale will focus on helping families save on back-to-school items, past years indicate you’ll also be able to snag deals on nursery furniture, kitchen appliances and the all important vacuums. Walmart+ members will be able to access the deals starting at 12 p.m. ET, while non-members can start shopping the sale at 5 p.m. ET.
  • Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: If you have your eye on some splurges, then you’ll want to check out the Nordstrom Anniversary sale between July 15 and August 4. This sale is notorious for providing steep discounts on items that rarely (if ever) go on sale. Think UppaBaby strollers, Nuna car seats, and the like. Although card members will be able to access deals as early as July 9, the sale is open to anyone.

Initially, Amazon Prime Day only occurred once per year, typically in July to celebrate the retailer’s birthday. However, in the last couple of years, we’ve also seen a special October event (colloquially called October Prime Day, although last year it was officially known as the Prime Big Deal Days event). And, earlier this year, we saw the Amazon Big Spring Sale offer tons of exclusive discounts as well. However, there is technically only one Prime Day each year, which typically occurs in July.

Although there are thousands of discounts during Prime Day, you won’t find everything on sale on Amazon. However, there are some categories that we recommend shopping on Prime Day, such as baby essentials, especially diapering gear and bottles, and some baby gear like high chairs and pack ‘n’ plays. We also keep an eye out for parent-favorite brands like Frida Baby and Frida Mom as well as popular toy brands like Melissa & Doug and Leap Frog that often have special sales.

Although we typically see the best car seat and stroller deals around Black Friday, you can also use this time to invest in a stroller or car seat if you need one sooner — last year, we saw deals on favorite brands like Chicco, Graco, Britax and more.
