July is officially upon us, which means it’s almost Prime Day. Running from July 16 to July 17, the two-day sale offers Prime members exclusive access to some of the deepest discounts of the year. But as a former shopping editor, I want to let you in on a little secret: Prime Day isn’t the only chance to save money this summer. Several retailers, including Nordstrom and Wayfair, host Prime Day alternative sales so you can score even more deals on everything from big ticket items to everyday essentials. 

In some cases, the Prime Day alternative sales may have better deals than the ones you’ll find on Amazon. Other times, alternative retailers may have deals on items that Amazon isn’t even offering. For example, those who shop this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can save up to 30% baby gear from Nuna and Maxi-Cosi, as well as maternity clothes from Hatch and Kindred Bravely.

Whether you try to avoid shopping at Amazon or want to make sure you’re getting the best of the best deal on an item, here are all the alternative Prime Day sales that are worth shopping.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

What to Shop: Card members may get early access to the Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, but the deals are sure to still be there when it opens up to the public on July 15. Nordstrom may not carry everyday essentials like diapers and wipes, but it does sell some of the more luxe baby gear, which will be marked down significantly during the weeks-long sale. As of today, you can save 25% on the Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair and 15% on the Bugaboo Fox 5 Complete Stroller.

Wayfair 72 Hour Clear Out
